"Ascension" takes place in an abandoned Sovjet Cosmodrome. The map includes Edward Richtofen, Nikolai Belinski, Tank Dempsey and Takeo Masaki as playable characters and includes new tactical grenades, the Gersch Device and Matryoshka Dolls. Also new perks are available, PhD Flopper and Stamin-Up. A new enemy, called spacemonkeys, also appear in this map and a new power-up, Random Perk Bottle is included.
